- Is the app free?
- Yes, Carspot is 100% free. Download it and start spotting immediately.
- How does AI recognition work?
- Our AI analyzes your photo and automatically identifies the make, model and year of the car. Recognition works even on partial angles.
- What is the rarity score?
- Every model gets a 0–100 score based on its production volume, price, age, horsepower and brand prestige. Six tiers: common, uncommon, rare, very rare, mythic and legendary. The rarer the car, the more points the spot earns.
- Are my spots private?
- You control the visibility of each spot. Keep them private in your garage or share them with the community.
- Are licence plates visible?
- No. Plates are blurred automatically before a spot is saved or published.
- Can I spot the same model more than once?
- Yes. Every encounter counts as a spot; the app simply tells you that you had already come across that model. Only a strictly identical photo is rejected.
- How do I get badges?
- Badges are unlocked by achieving goals: number of spots, different brands, rare cars, etc.
- Which phones does Carspot work on?
- On iPhone via the App Store and on Android via Google Play. The app is translated into 16 languages.
- What does Carspot Gold add?
- Carspot Gold is an optional subscription: the spot map, exclusive cosmetics, detailed garage stats and batch import. The game stays the same for everyone — never pay-to-win.
- How do I delete my account?
- From the app: Settings › My account › Delete my account. Or by email to contact@eazy-media.fr. Deletion is permanent.
